OUR VISION

Section - 1:

Africa has consistently and prominently featured in every major dispensation of God’s master plan for humanity. These appearances highlight the fact that from God’s perspective Africa has never been a forgotten continent. The apparent quiescence of Africa among the peoples of the world has been only because the time of an African dispensation in spiritual leadership and prosperity had not come. There have been foretastes of African leadership and achievements throughout history; these droplets shall become showers of unprecedented revival and restoration in Africa and among Africans all over the world. This restorative revival will be accompanied with the realization of God’s commitment to prosper the peoples of Africa, to bless the land of Africa, and to raise up worldwide leaders of spirituality, thought and governance from among the peoples of Africa.

Section - 2:
In accord with the Scriptures, there is to come a massive worldwide revival that shall usher in the final phase of spiritual harvest. Africa and Africans around the world are slated to play a key role in the coming world revival. God may call despised, unlearned, foolish, weak, or dejected persons to His employ. It is not in God’s design, however, to use instruments that are despicable or lukewarm, those who are unlearned or untrained in His will and ways, those who are spiritually unwise or unbroken, the indolent and procrastinators, or those who by their own fears and anxieties would remain despondent and withdrawn from His circle of love and grace. Anyone answering to God’s call must first be refined, retooled, and refilled before being deployed by God for the ministry to which they are called. To effectively play the divinely intended role in world revival and evangelization, therefore, Africa must first be restored, revived, and refined as a land and as a people. As is customary with God, this restoration will be all-encompassing, permeating every thread of the spiritual, social, economic, and cultural fabric of the people. It shall also be universal as it will be carried through to all the continents and nations where Africans have been. The divine agenda for the restoration of Africa shall have to be implemented by Africans. It is imperative, therefore, that there arise companies of Africans who are spiritually in touch with God, intellectually sharpened, systematically trained, practically experienced, and socially adept, to participate as workers under God’s leadership in the expected restoration. Moreover, let it be known that all of Africa and African peoples all over the world have a common dispensational destiny. It is, therefore, further imperative that the men and women whom God is going to use be people who have known and accept and cherish working together in unity and transparency. Throughout Africa and the world, God is interested in raising groups of committed and united servants who know who they are, who understand His plan, and who are willing, able, and ready to be deployed as Builders of Bridges in the restorative ministry.

Section - 3:
The African Christian Fellowship started with the objective of preserving the spiritual lives of its members while temporarily residing outside Africa. It should now be clear that God’s plan for the Fellowship extends far beyond mere spiritual preservation. The African Christian Fellowship is one of a few such bodies whose membership potentially encompasses every country in Africa and every African around the world. While we may individually be pursuing various daily activities and careers, we are to be practicing that oneness and trust that are vital to our role as God’s messengers and laborers. These are the spring training and planting days in preparation for the coming summer campaigns and harvests. Africans in the Diaspora, however early or recent their egress from the continent, are out to meet and work with other Africans in accessible and strategic environments. Africans in the Diaspora are out to be trained in building bridges. Indeed our mission in the African Christian Fellowship is to constitute bridges of reconciliation and reconnection with our African brethren who came out here centuries ago and who need to reconnect with the rest of Africa. We are to bridge with other people groups who have for generations seen Africans as anything other than the custodians of that which God intended in His master plan. To adequately prepare and equip us for effective implementation of the Vision, our goals and activities must of necessity address: (A). the local dimension in facilitating the spiritual, intellectual, physical, and socio-economic development of our members and families for consistent and effective Christian living; (B). the African dimension in undertaking holistic ministrations within Africa and among Africans around the world; and (C). the world dimension in building and becoming bridges of reconciliation and harmony between African peoples and other people groups of the world.

Summary
Summary The Vision to which the African Christian Fellowship subscribes is this: God is committed to the welfare of Africa and Africans all around the world. God is committed to restore Africa and to use Africans all over the world in a unique way within the present dispensation. God is building up united companies of messengers, who are genuine Africans at heart, who are capable, willing, and ready to be deployed by God to administer the restoration, and to communicate the accompanying revival, around the world. The African Christian Fellowship is a congregation of Bridge Builders who are working with God to bring about the realization of His masterplan for our generation.
